To kill a mockingbird

Boo radley diary

July 16

yesterday I saw children outside of my home, it was really weird because I have never seen child so close to my house in many years, I think that it's because there are many stories and rumors about me and my past that are fake, like that I am about six-and-a-half feet tall ,I eat squirrels and cats that I catch ,that my hands were bloodstained because once you ate a raw animal, the blood would not wash off and also that I
stabbed one of his family members with a pair of scissors.

writing task 3

1. Do we change our identity when we wear different clothes, for example, when we are not wearing our school uniform?

I think that we dont change our identity when we wear different clothes , we only change the wey that we look and also how we feel  more comfortable.Maybe we can change our attitudes our clothes but our identity will be the same.

2.Do we change our way of speaking when we are wearing different types of clothes, for example, school uniform or more casual clothes?

I think that no,  because the way we talk does not depend on what clothes are you wearing, it depends on the country or place where you  lives or the people with  you interact every day.

3. How do our clothes represent our identity?

Clothes can represent our identity in many ways because it shows like a image of who are you and also whew you came from, for example in football , we can see that in the football world cup there are different countries that have differents uniforms that represents the country with the colors of the flag and with the emblem because all of them have differents identities.
Writing task animal farm

Dear editor,
I am writing to you this letter because i require to inform you about the different changes that the animal farm has suffered.First of all i would like to tell you about old major's speech before he got shot.In the speech old major proposed a radical change where humans are expelled from the farm,as old major considered them to use animals for their own benefit. In other words old major propose a "rebellion".The first important change after the death of old major was that napoleon takes the leadership and successfully performing the rebellion.Other change was that napoleon and the others pigs comes up with Seven Commandments, which are to form the basis of Animalism. They are ,whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy ,Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend. No animal shall wear clothes. No animal shall sleep in a bed.No animals shall drink alcohol. No animal shall kill any other animal. All animals are equal. In others words the animals takes totally the control of the farm. Now that you know the changes I will proceed to inform you the relation of the animal farm with the Russian revolution. This book portray the Russian Revolution of 1917 as one that resulted in a government more oppressive, totalitarian, and deadly than the one  it overthrew. You can see this in the some characters because they represents the figures of the Russian Revolution , like old major that represents Karl Marx , Napoleon that represent Stalin and Snowball that represent Leo Trostky. Finally I regret to inform you  that is the end of  letter .

Animal farm

1.What is your reaction to the animal's revolution ?

I am agree with the revolution because is okay that the animals demand respect and have a fair deal.

2.Do you sympathize with the animal’s complaints and goals? Why? Why not?

I sympathize with the ideas of the animals because  is unfair to treat them wrong and take advantage of them but I think that the way that them resolved the situation was not the best.

3.Describe how the rebellion takes place? How does the animal’s behavior during the rebellion suggest human characteristics?

the rebellion takes place after the death of old major, and it  was led by napoleon. The animals  attack all together making expel human farm and taking the control of the farm. Some human characteristics in the animals like that they got together against the humans, and they wey  that they were prepared for the revolution becuase they look like a real army.

4.How do the pigs gain the rights to the cow’s milk? Why do the other animals allow this? What does this event suggest about power in hierarchy on the farm?

The pigs gain the rights the cow’s milks because Napoleon had the lead and control of the farm, so he make excuses and lies because he wanted to have all the food and stuff for him and for squiler. The animals allows this because they are a little scared of Napoleon and also because they say that if Napoleon say somethig , it since that is the best because he is the leader.

5.What is your reaction to Snowballs expulsion from Animal Farm? Explain
I think the expulsion of snowball was unfair because he was  only trying to give an idea to help everyone on the farm, but Napoleon thought he wanted to take the lead of the farm so he opted to expel him.

6.Identify three ways that Napoleon tries to solidify his leadership on the farm. How does the process of decision making on the farm change under Napoleons leadership?

Three ways where that Napoleon expel snowball from the farm because in a wey he was like his competition for the leadership, Other was the seven commandments that the pigs established. And the other way was Napoleon made the animal believe that he was doing the right thinks and the best for the farm. The process of decision change because Napoleon made that the animals of the farm where sacared of him, so nobody could question him and also because he changes the commandments, in order that all the things that he did where right , so he had the control of all.

7.Why do the executions take place? What message do these events send to the animals about their role in a future society?

The executions take place because Napoleon wanted to impose fear on the animals to show them what happend  if someone question him or is not agree with the rules that he dictated.

8.Do you think it’s fair that those who are more educated or more skilled like the pigs in Animal Farm have more influence on the decision making? Who makes the decisions in your family, community and nation?

I think that is fair that the people that is more educated or more intelligent have to take the decision , but in the case of the animal farm is unfair because the pigs are not doing th best for the farm and for the other animals. In my family my parents takes the decision , in the community the teachers and in the nation the president.

9.By the end of the film it can be suggested that the pigs and human political leaders are interchangeable. How might power change those who have it?

The power sometimes can change the people in a bad way like what happened with Napoleon or in a good way because you can be a very good leader and help many people , but that depends on you.

10.In your opinion are the pigs in Animal Farm more intelligent than all the other animals? What qualities enabled them to lead the others? Provide examples that support your answer.

In my opinion the pigs where more intelligent than the other animals but i think that the most intelligent was snowball because he was the only one of the others pigs that really wanted to help the other animals and the farm. The others pig where intelligent too because they use tactics to control the animal but with all the power they change and turn into bad animals because they wanted the best for they own and not for farm. Some examples are that Snowball invented an idea for helping on the farm and also that he was the fisrt of th farm that learm how to read and write.
